It is never enough to take leadership lessons.
It is up to us to be leaders in many life situations, in family, society, work relationships, etc., even if the task we hold or the function we perform may not hold the title, director, manager, president, administrator, etc.
To be a disciple of Christ means to be the shepherd of the flock that He has entrusted to us to care for.
Following the cycle of leadership training seminars, Pr. Julian Kastrati was the special guest this week, to introduce the second part of what is otherwise labeled the GROW method, a method first published by John Whitmore in 1992.
The GROW method is a leadership training model used in many areas of life and in everyday life with the main focus on setting well-defined objectives. From English the initials GROW indicate: G- (goals and aspirations), objectives and aspirations R- (current situation, internal and external obstacle), current situation, internal and external obstacles, O- (opportunities, strengths and resources) , opportunities, strengths and resources, W- (actions and accountability), action and accountability.
The pastoral team was practically involved in the implementation with scenarios of the GROË method, in the context of churches in Albania, a very important point in the achievement of persons who have not yet known Christ, church members and among colleagues themselves during the activity of daily.
Pastor Juliani illustrated in this context, his own personal situation of transition from Germany, where he currently lives with his family, to Great Britain, as an example that encouraged the pastoral team of the Albanian Mission, especially in the precise definition of objectives and action plans for every further step with impact on our lives and pastoral services.
Again the pastoral team of the Albanian Adventist Mission participated in this workshop, sharing also their experiences as leaders in local Adventist churches and beyond.
“We are very happy to have the opportunity to meet again in a short time with Pr. Kastrati. The seminars led by him during these two cycles have made a great contribution in shaping the perception to discover and develop leadership skills in the pastoral team in Albania.
The GROW method can serve us a lot as a tool in the formulation of strategies and problems or managerial processes, in order to achieve the objectives through interaction as a team in full synergy “- said Pr.Leo N.Espana, President of the Albanian Mission
Pastor Kastrati also stopped in the city of Korça, where he had the opportunity to present his seminars for the leader of the Adventist community in this city together with a group of volunteers from Brazil who were there for several weeks as part of a summer evangelism campaign.
As an integral part of the Adventist Church, the humanitarian foundation ADRA Albania also participated in this cycle of seminars, led by Pastor Kastrati.
During this dynamic presentation, ADRA Albania staff developed some practical work scenarios trying to apply in a way
